Another outdoor gear website?  Well,  the answer has to be yes.  So why read any further?

We are lifelong outdoor enthusiasts with over 50 years of combined recreational and professional outdoor experience in a wide range of areas.

A common theme throughout has been the struggle and not least expense of locating the right kit.  The wrong choice can prove costly and uncomfortable and seems to be a major issue for both newcomers to the outdoors and the seasoned alike.  Hence this website.

We aim to offer items that we use personally and vouch for, advice as to choice and always sourced from approved distributors with full manufacturer support.  The range will grow as finances and distributor terms allow.  But nothing will make it to these pages on the basis of profit motive alone.

We hate being hit with website post charges at the last minute, all prices quoted here are inclusive of UK postage - no hidden extras. Overseas orders please contact for postage quote before ordering.

Royal Mail post charges are set to rise by 40% at the end of April,  this will have an impact on us in terms of both post out and incoming deliveries.  We will hold prices at their current level for the time being, but  will have to review things during May.
